Sussex Wild Camping
Our tiny, quiet, seasonal camp site is ideal for families and family groups who want space to be by themselves, relax and enjoy the unique setting of our 20 acres of natural flower meadows and a small stream, which provides hours of fun for all ages.
We are different in that our pitches are mown weekly, each has their own clean eco toilet or toilets, a picnic bench and table, fire pit and cooking grid. Either solar or fire, heats hot water for an efficient and unusual shower for campers. Sustainably coppiced wood for your fire can be purchased, to make a perfect evening under the stars. We have 4 different size secluded eco camping areas, and 1 for small campervans.
Being based between London, Brighton, Hastings, the sea, and best of the South Downs National park, there is lots to see and do within easy reach of our campsite. Our local pub, The Brewers Arms can be walked to and offers good food and beer. The Star Inn with fantastic food and a beautiful garden is walkable for adults, and so is the Horse and Groom at Rushlake green with its vibrant village store.
Should you want to leave the site, I can help you plan your days out using my local knowledge, or even provide a guided cycle tour (see cycling).
