Acceptance of Booking and the Contract
Once your holiday has been confirmed by us, it is at this time that a contract is made between you and Experience Sussex and is subject to these booking conditions. We will normally confirm your booking by email within 5 working days.
Exclusions and limitations of liability
We have a large, deep lake close to the house so you and those in your group must be able to swim and act sensibly and safely near the water, including the sea or rivers when out on a tour. A buoyancy ring is visible and always available beside the lake at Wimbles, fishing is entirely at your own risk.
Bikes and walking tours
Bike and walking tour members must agree and sign the bike loan conditions and disclaimer forms before any tour.
The pottery studio is on 2 levels in the barn with the upper level accessed up a steep narrow staircase so care must be taken and a certain amount of agility required at all times. When using the throwing/turning wheel it is sensible to have long hair tied back. Any glaze/water spillages must be immediately cleaned up to avoid slipping or ceramic dust build up.
Reasonably strong hands are needed for gripping and bending the withies and rods into shapes under pressure which can sometimes cause them to whip backwards, so care is needed and protective glasses will be provided.
Cancellation by you
For Bed and Breakfast cancellations more than 72 hours prior to arrival we shall endeavour to re-let the room. If we are unable to do so we reserve the right to retain the deposit. In the unfortunate event of a cancellation within 72 hours of the 3 p.m. check in time, or of non-arrival or a curtailment of stay, we shall endeavour to re-let the room on your behalf. However, should we be unable to do so, it may be necessary to charge the full cost of the reserved accommodation. Refund for tours and activities cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival is at the discretion of Experience Sussex, cancellation within 30 days will forfeit their deposit unless we are able to re-let.
All guests are advised to take appropriate holiday insurance.

In the unlikely event of this being necessary a full refund would be offered or an alternative date arranged.
